I don't think Vodafone want my custom

I've tried to sign up to Vodafone Fibre today now that my Sky contract has run out.
I'm doing it through a comparison site to get the 76meg package at £26.

 

I add to basket, go to register as a new customer and I'm told my email is already registered. This reminds me I was a mobile customer many moons ago. I don't even have the same phone number any more.

 

It tells me a code has been sent my text. Well, that's no good to me. I can't access my old account and can't set up a new account.

 

I go on live chat. Tell the first person my problems. They pass me to another person. They pass me to another person. They pass me to another person.

 

Not one of them could tell me how to access my account. The last one tried their best to get me to sign up over chat. What's the point in me doing that if I'm not going to be able to access my account?

Plus I want to do it online so that I can get the fibre cheaper because, as the agent said, I can't get it for £26 unless I do it online via the comparison site also.

 

Can anyone here help me out with a simple solution to actually access my account?

The online customer service isn't exactly inspiring me to sign up.

Don't have a simple answer but try private messaging one of the Mods or Admins who should be able to put you in touch with the person you need

Hi & thanks, but I've actually just renewed with Sky after they decided to re-negotiate with me.

Me to. Can't stream anything, Web pages take ages to load and speed test tonight was 1.83mb down and 10mb up, earlier on today I was showing at 52/16 on speed test but pages still take a while to load, seems to get worse after 6, I'm Deffo thinking of jumping ship. I'm supposed to be on 76/20 but when I changed from BT 52mb, my speed never changed and I know I can get 73mb as I have had it before, but Vodafone refuse to help as my router is sync at above min guarantee speed
