I currently have three mobiles under my account, my mobile and one each for my two daughters. I am paying for all three mobile plans by direct debit from my bank, but my eldest daughter wants to start paying for her own mobile plan. Is it possible to somehow split the bills or create another account without terminating her contract. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Im not 100% sure.
You could speak with customer service on 191 to see if some form of transfer of ownership can be actioned. As long as the person can pass a Credit Check.

Your situation is unique as this is all attached to your Vodafone account.
Sometimes Vodafone can arrange for a bill to come from another persons bank account.
How long are you into the contract term ?

Hi @andyw394
You can certainly split the account where your eldest daughter will be able to be able to pay for your own phone bill with a direct debit arrangement and have access to her online account to manage charges.
This will mean you will be unable to see the calls or charges on her account but you will still be liable should she fail to pay the charges, the only thing your daughter will be unable to do will be to change the contract by way or upgrading or tariff change.
A split account arrangement can be finalised is using live chat or calling Customer Services.
The other alternative will be a full change of ownership, subject to meeting Vodafone's credit criteria.
If a change of ownership is preferable, this can be arranged by calling the Change of Ownership Team and giving authorisation. Your Daughter will also need to speak to them and providing the credit check clears, the contract will be in your Daughters name from midnight.

I have exactly this arrangement. My daughters phone get a separate bill and a DD from her bank account. But it's all under my account.
Customer services should be able to set this up easily enough. They will have to speak to her about setting up the separate DD and that means you will have to invent a password, tell her what it is and she has to give Vodafone that password when they speak to her.
