As this device wasn't released here, I'm unsure of where I could safely/securely buy this phone. Any suggestions or links would be highly appreciated :Smiling:

Hi

You would need to perhaps Google.

I cannot suggest to you where to buy it from.

The problem with phones not released for the uk market is if they will work / latch onto Vodafone.

Its best to check what frequencies and bands it uses to what Vodafone runs on.

Frequencies used on the Vodafone UK network.

Frequency Protocol Class
900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G
1800 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE. LTE[17][18] 2G/4G
900 MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+ 3G
2100 MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+. LTE[18] 3G/4G
800 MHz LTE 4G
2600 MHz LTE Advanced 4G

1800 MHz 2100MHz 2600 MHz.

Vodafone LTE 1800MHz and 2100MHz is only available in some areas, having been refarmed from 2G (1800MHz) and 3G (2100MHz

Even then it's not guaranteed to work.

I have already checked and the H960A version should be compatible, according to GSMarena. So even if it supports UK frequencies, it isn't guaranteed?

Hi

I can only speak from past posts.

People have imported a phone that wasn't meant for the uk market and it appeared to support working on a uk network but when recieved it didn't properly.

That said others haven't had issues.

I'm just saying it's not guaranteed until the uk sim is inserted.
