Ludicrous service

I have no words to describe the ludicrous service from Vodafone.

 

  • Ordered initially an iphone 7+ as an upgrade on 12/9. After a series of lies and broken promises I have cancelled it and got the device from Apple Store
  • My next step was to request a Sim Only program. Visited Vodafone Cheapside - on 19/10- where they tried to do this with no luck. 
  • Next day it appeared that my old order - for iPhone- was still open. So had to wait till this week.
  • I confirmed with Vodafone that my old order cancelled and yesterday I went again to Vodafone Cheapside.
  • I went totally 3 times - they tried a lot, they spoke with Call Centre, and they re-assured me that within 2-3 hours my plan will change.
  • Nothing happened so today I called 191. Spoke with 5 different people - in billing, retentions, upgrades- all unable to get my plan changed  and the last one closed the line after 75 minutes of call!

 

This service is a disaster, 44 days after my initial request for upgrade Vodafone cannot even manage to pass me into a Sim only plan. How much difficult can this be?

 

I am now writing a lengthy email to Ofcom and will get my PAC code within the day. Enough is enough.

Since I asked for my PAC code someone called me to ask the reason for asking to leave. 

I once again told the 44 days story and I don't know how but he managed to set up the new Sim only plan.

 

Vodafone got my upgrade totally wrong this time and they did everything they could to make the process lengthy and difficult. Should be happy that this is now over but it was really unacceptable.

You were very lucky anyone from Vodafone bothrered to call you back and offer support.
