I want to get a dongle for occasional use of the internet on my laptop when away from home. So I want one with no time limit on the credit/top ups I purchase. Any advice as to what I should get and will future top ups have any time limit on their use?

Thanks

Hi alwrigley

Welcome to the forum!

Directly from Vodafone, we are now selling PAYG USB Modems however the credit will expire inside 30 days when using this.

Are you a Contract customer or a PAYG customer?

If you are a contract customer you could always apply our Vodafone Mobile Internet pack to your phone and use it as a modem.

All the best

I've found a Vodafone 3Gb modem from PC World that has a £15 credit on it that they assure me has no time limit on it and that also any future top-ups I buy will also not have a time limit on them. Phoned Vodafone and they confirmed this but maybe you could let me know if this is indeed the case. thanks for your help, Al

I believe you have to use the modem within a given time period, I think it may be 180 days but I'd
not take the risk of number being disconnected and logon more frequently than that to make sure.
I'm not sure of minimum charge debited from your credit but doubt it's more than a few pence.
