Moving apps from phone to SD card - Vodafone Prime 7

I cannot find anything anywhere on moving apps to SD card for this phone. Having only an 8GB internal memory is far more restricting than I thought it would be!

Hi. I don't have that phone but it's normally (if it's possible on your device) just a case of going to settings, scroll to apps, open the app and then click on the option to move to SD card.

If it's not there I guess it can't be done on that phone.

Just had a look at a manual for the phone and it doesn't mention that facility.

Hi @The_Lanky1

If the apps are copyright downloaded from Google Play, you won't be able to transfer them to the SD card.

When you have a lot of applications, 8GB internal memory doesn't go far.

I tried out an earlier model from the Smart range some time back.   Then, it made as much use of the SD card as it could for itself and I threw as many of my regular apps at it as possible.   They're not, for the most part, large though.   I was very impressed by how it worked round the limitation of only 8gb.

To move individual apps, follow 63johnw's advice.   Any that can be relocated will have the option.  I never needed to do that, though.

You should also be able to set the default location for the camera and downloads to the card too.
