Hi,

Is support currently planned for the Blackberry Q10? As the app currently doesnt support it. (Nor does it allow it to be downloaded from Blackberry App World)

Laith.

I have downloaded it on the Z10. I cannot see why it would not on Q10.

Have you tried it through a computer? I could not download an app using BB World and I did it through the computer.

The app is not supported on the phone. If you look on the app store, it even shows the only BB10 handset compatible with it is the Z10. The entry is not available on the Q10's app store due to this limitation, but a simple google search for my vodafone app blackberry 10 will bring you up the appropriate product listing.

Hi Trunkz,

This is something I’m not aware of, so I’ve emailed a contact who deals with the App to get more information.

As soon as I hear back, I’ll update the thread.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Trunkz,

I’ve heard back from my contact. They’ve advised that it’s currently being looked into but don’t have a timescale for resolution.

Thanks,

Andrew

Any more information as to whether the Q10 is ever going to get this app

Hi madasaman,

I'm afraid we don't have any further information on this at the moment. As Andy mentioned it is being looked into but we don't have a timescale for when it will be available.

Thanks,

Kay

well where can I get an android version to side load it?

Still no update for this? I used to use this app to check my bill usage, remaining texts and calls and more importantly current data usage. I can't get the latter without having to call customer services everytime which is a complete nuisance to be honest. The vodafone app does not need a recode as such, BB10 support is already implemented as shown on the z10; just allow the app to be installed on the Q10 through blackberry world. Come on guys!

Hi Guys,

@ madasaman, the only way to get an Android version of the app would be through the Google Play Store on an android phone.

@ Trunkz, we are working on the app and there are a few modifications required from the one that’s available for the Z10.

In the meantime you can also call 44555 free from your phone or use the online account to check your current usage.
