Hi there

Will we ever see a BB10 native My Vodafone app or are we stuck with the Android port.

Additionally, will the Wifi search facility be available anytime soon on the app.

Thanks

Woody

Can anyone tell me why i can get My Vodafone app on my work Blackberry Z10 but i cant find it on my Blackberry Q10?

thanks

Hi andynikken,

The app is not currently supported for the BlackBerry Q10.

We're still working on this, but we have no update as to when it may be available.

I have to say that my patience with Vodafone on this issue has reached its limit. I'm ending my contract and switching to a different provider this month.

You're going to leave because there is no Vodafone App for your handset?  You do know that you can check the same info online through My Vodafone or by calling 44555 both of which will give you the same details.

Remember that no mobile phone provider is actually required to provide you with an App to monitor your usage.  Also, from a development point of view, it is not always possible to have an App that is supported by every single handset out there.

As I posted before, you can download the android version and it WILL RUN if you have the latest OS 10 update. Both myself and Woody are running this on our Q10's. Eventually VF will pull their fingers out and sort this (Maybe) but until then you have an option. As to leaving the network, not sure if this would be a good enough reason for me. The abysmal dealing with the OS update is another matter entirely. Just confirmation that they had it and it had problems, so they were testing another release would have sufficed. But all we got was the stock answer. Not good enough and I will be going elsewhere when my contract ends. Been with VF for years, but Customer service has become crap!!!

Drey_p, if any utility provider, bank, etc etc gives me bad service, I take my custom elsewhere.
It's dead easy, I'm on a SIM-only monthly deal, so I just get a PAC code and take my number elsewhere. My broadband provider is offering a good combined discount deal on mobile and landline together so I'm off.
I can"t be arsed logging in to Vodafone's crap website to check my usage, any more than they can be bothered porting their app. Bye!

How does not having an App equate to bad service?

If I'm not going to bother using Vodafone's mobile service any more, I'm certainly not going to bother dealing with their forum troll...

Wow - name calling now...
How is asking a simple question trolling?
