My situation so far, would love watchdog to get in touch

9th September: 

I ordered the iPhone Plus Matt Black at 9am. promised delivery For 16th September. Also told i will NOT get billed for the phone untill it has arrived. (Which i have now been billed for) 

 

16th September:  

Recieve email '' We'll update you by email in 3 days.Or sooner with more information''. 

Speak to CS on the live chat, Spoke to someone called ARKO Was told my order will be with my by 6PM today, (I assure you it will be with you)  (Obviously a lie) 

 

17th September: 

Called CS again, Was told there sorry apple didnt send enough stock and i will get my phone in the next batch which i was told was monday. also told me she would credit me with £50 for the delay. (Still not revieved £50 on my account

 

19th September: 

Recieve email 04:04 '' We'll update you by email in 3 days.Or sooner with more information''. 

Called CS, Told i will hear back within 3 days with a DPD date & time.

 

22nd September:

Recieve email 01:58.''Dont worry, you've still got your spot in the queue and we'll send another update in 4 days, or sooner with more information'' 

Spoke to CS, Told me it was APPLES FAULT for not shipping enough stock. and he doesnt know when i will get my phone. told me not to belive the tracker as it isnt right. 

 

24th September:

Had a couple of different chats with CS , One told me my phone will be with me in 6 days, another told me 4-8 weeks.

 

25th September: 

Recieve email Unfortunately due to exceptionally high demand we're still waiting to receive stock from the manufacturer - we're sorry for the delay.

26th September:

Tracker says: 12th - 16th October.

Speak to CS, Named Bharat. told me my order will be with me in 4-5 weeks 

ask him to transfer me to supervisor as im not happy with all the lies. 

speak to Nitin Kar, he tells me its the manufacturers fault as there isnt enough stock and told me my wait till be 4-6 weeks.

I pre-ordered iPhone 7 Plus 256GB Jet Black on 9th Sept at 8:05am, I was one of the first people to pre-order in the UK. Guaranteed delivery for 16th Sept. That didnt happen. Most times I speak to CS, VF promise it will arrive in 2-3 days time, some advisors have said completely out of stock, some blame dpd, all lies. Poor communication! If I was told there was an issue with this specific colour, I would have gladly chosen another colour if I had been offered, but instead i have to wait 4-6 weeks... Awesome, 15 years loyalty to VF feels like "banter" the way I have been treated.

What a joke. I feel betrayed.

I think a lot of us are available to Watchdogs for comment. 

 

I will Ibe taking my complaints to the regulatory boards, since Vodafone are refusing to respond themselves. 

I too am VERY keen to speak to Watchdog.

You already gave exact date. In my case you GUARANTEED a 16 Sept delivery. So where is my phone?
