I am currently in Australia and will be moving to UK - Sidmouth - next month.  Would like to have phone and internet connected as soon as possible.  Can I obtain information and start account by email?

To be considered for a Home Phone and Broadband contact, you will need to have a UK address, a UK bank account and some form of previous UK credit history to meet the credit check criteria.

You will need to wait until you are settled in the UK before applying.   Further information for you on the link below.

I hope your move to the Uk is a stress free one and Welcome. 

Tip on phones > If your also needing a mobile mobile phone and network connection then you could choose Pay As You Go until your settled with a uk address and U.K. Bank Accounts. Lots of Payg contracts in regards to minutes / texts and data allowance are on par with Pay Monthly Contracts it just means a phone isn't thrown in with the contract. You could ask your current network to unlock your phone to all Networks so a Vodafone U.K. SIM card works in it but Vodafone Uk couldn't guarantee they can support an imported phone.

In regards to home broadband then you would need to liaise with Vodafone and if its the same then Mobile Data On the Go like a Wifi device may tide you over.
