New iphone 6 no service

My new phone arrived this morning, without any paperwork so I don't know my phone number or anything! Phone has been charging all day but I'm unable to use it as there's no service!

Maybe the sim card needs activating, and if you give customer services the sim card number they will be able to sort that out for you. Doubt #100# will work as it needs to contact the network for the number. Could be wrong...but hopefully someone in the forum or live help might be able to assist you with... Hope this helps...

Hi, I'm not able to do activate my sim as I don't know the phone number as there was no paperwork with my delivery just a despatch note! I thought the number was on that but it has 12 digits instead of 11!

Our Live help team should be able to find your account and provide your phone numbers.

 

Also, if you need a new SIM card, a visit to a store would be your quickest option.

 

There should be no reason for you to completely return a contract and take out a new one, just to activate a SIM.

Just wondering did you get your phone sorted the same is happening to me had the phone for over a week now

Hi, no still not sorted! Fed up of spending most of my days on the phone to their shoddy customer service team and getting anywhere! If they don't sort it tomorrow when I ring them they can have the phone back cow it's no good to me

I recieved iPhone 6 on the 2nd of November and to activate the sim you need the number and only paperwork I got with it was the despatch note and that doesn't have the number on it I've phoned up about 10 times and was told there was a technical problem I asked to get a new sim but was told would be better sending this phone back and take out a whole new contract is there any way to get the phone number for this phone and can't be bothered with all the hassle of sending this back and taking out a new contract

Ano they told me to phone up and apply for a new contract and send that One back but no point doing that probably same thing will happen again nightmare
