New phones and Sure Signal

This week I and my husband upgraded and now both have Samsung S3s, with new SIMs but retaining the same numbers. My phone has wifi but no network in the house (we have a Sure Signal as there is no mobile signal in the "depths" of rural Norfolk). We were assured by the Vodafone staff in Norwich that, as we were retaining our numbers, there wouldn't be a problem with the SS.... I have read various posts here, and have de-registered and re-registered my husband's number, which will hopefully have resolved his problems; but as I am the owner of the SS I cannot do that for my number. It seems that, if I de-register the SS, all the registered numbers will be lost - which I could deal with but would be a pain. Is it possible for Vodafone support to sort this out for me, or should I just press ahead with tackling the SS?

You can dereg it and reregister it and add the numbers back on. That should sort it out

Apologies - I meant to add that my Sure Signal number is 21230036176.

Thank you for that. Somewhat bizarrely, having got myself ready to do this, my phone seems now to have registered with the SureSignal, belatedly but of its own accord! So the moral may be that it's worth waiting several days before doing anything else....
