Hi monkeynager,
I'm sorry to hear that the device is not working for you. According to the specifications, this particular card should work fine with 64-bit Vista.
Can you tell me if the card displays as a CD-drive under My Computer when you plug it in? Does Windows make any noises indicating that it has detected a new device being plugged in? Also, are there any lights showing on the card - if so, what colour, and what pattern do they flash in?
With a bit more information, I'm sure we can work this out

Hi Jon
I have the same problem. On my system I can see the card but it does not auto run.
I have updated the firmware and it runs fine for XP.
I have tried to run setup.exe from the E270 drive but it gives an error to say pretty well get in touch with you guys!
I note the firmware update files are dated 17/10/2007 so this would have been pre Vista 64 days I think??!!
Oh and the dark blue light displays which is a good sign.
Assistance would be much appreciated
Richard

Hi Richard,
Can you post the exact wording of the error message you get when trying to run the Setup.exe?
With regards to the firmware updates, only the E220 was released prior to being "Vista Compatible" so this should not be needed for this device.

Hi Aviator,
Thanks for the screenshot. Error 1720 is a known issue with a fix, luckily.
Can you follow the instructions posted over here and let us know if that resolves it for you?

Hi Jon
Thanks for getting back to me.
When I insert the card, Windows make a sound like it does when a USB device is plugged in. But there are no lights flashing on the express card and the CD drive does not show up in My Computer. When I remove the card, Windows makes the same sound as it does when a USB device is removed.
Hope this helps
Regards
Dave
