No Signal for 2 weeks on VSS1

Just like another thread I've just read (No signal for 5 days) I'd like to report that I have got this same issue. Have had it since the storms 2 weeks ago knocked out the power. Since power has come back on we've had no signal. Lights 1 and 2 are usually on, sometimes light 4 flashes. Have had a few chats with Vodafone support. The last was with Jonathan Macey who performed several tests on the device via a remote desktop session. Conclusion was that device is fine and the problems lie with our BT home hub 3. I've also been told by another Vodafone rep that due to a recent BT update, which was probably only installed on the Home Hub 3 when the power came back on, that they have experienced several users with this issue. In all cases I been told to contact BT and that they are aware of this issue and be able to fix it.....Well, 3 phone calls later and 2 web chats and I'm still no closer to getting this fixed. As far as BT are concerned they know nothing about this problem, they don't even know what a sure signal is. So long as my computer can connect to the internet then there’s nothing wrong with their equipment and I must go back to Vodafone as its Vodafone’s device that’s not working.

So I'm stuck in the middle with no mobile phone signal at all. Vodafone say its not our problem go to BT. BT say its not our problem go to Vodafone.....

I Managed to get hold of a friends adsl router today to see if the sure signal will connect through it. If it does then I know that the problem is the Home Hub 3. If it still doesn’t connect I know that its the Sure Signal.

Does anyone else want to offer some advice or assistance?
