I switched to vodofone and decided to keep my number. Initally they said it will take 2 working days to port the number, which infact did happen.
However, I can not recieve any calls from people. I did call up the customer service department and all i got was, it'll be fixed by 24 hours. I called them after 24, hours, same thing, again and agin. I CALLED THEM 5 times, everytime the answer is "we are working on it"
Now i finally called them and shouted at them and their resonse was, "it will take 5 more days"
My guess, proberbly not.
Can someone with a brain fix this issue please, pathetic customer serivce. If they dont fix it soon, its time for law suits

Hi,
Im sorry to learn your first experience with using your service is this.
This could be a Split Port.
Perhaps call customer services and use that term and ask for this to be escalated to the Porting Teams.

Did they at anytime mention they were passing your case to the Vodafone Porting Teams ?
This IMO is what they possibly need to do.

I did talk to the porting team, they are the ones that keeps making excuses.

Ah right
Unfortunately apart from re booting the phone there's nothing much you can do to help a Split Port along.
If this was my situation I'd keep a running log of calls to customer service including any names , dates and times and if using Live Chat retain the transcripts so that when this is sorted I could put my situation in writing explaining the time and effort and inconvenience this situation caused.
I personally would also keep the Network Satisfaction Gusrantee of 30 days - Cooling Off Period - in mind.
