1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?

This problem is in a number of different areas. Where previously I had signal. I have to travel roughly 2 to 3 miles to get signal

2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? If you don't want this showing on the Community, add it to your profile here. Cf15 9jp

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone? Yes

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs? None

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all? All

6) When did you first notice this issue? Last week

7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs? It's permanent.

@butch16 – I’ve checked the coverage in your area and you should get 2G, but this is patchy. 3G and 4G are mostly available outdoors only.

Your local sites all look to be performing fine.

If you change your phones settings to 2G only, you should find this improve things

As this is due to general coverage and not a fault, you could buy a Sure Signal to use at home as this would provide you with 3G

Thank you Jenny in your response, I'm sorry in the late reply but I've been moving house and this is the first time I've been able to reply. I've tried 2G and this doesn't work. I also feel that I shouldn't need to buy a sure signal box when my signal was fine previously and also the issue is not just at home but outside of home and other areas, also and I would feel buying a signal box would just be putting more money in the Vodafone pot and really not solving the problem I have. I look forward to your response in trying to find out the cause of the problem in order for it to be resolved.

@butch16 Has this issue happened since you've moved house? Is it a case of you used to get good coverage at your old location, however now you've moved into an area with lower coverage?

Apologies for the questions, I'm just trying to understand the situation. :smileyhappy:

No it doesn't have anything to do with moving house as I wasn't the one moving. And yes I used to have signal in the places I goto often but for some reason I don't anymore. Could you please tell me when my contract is up.
