Hi
We went on live chat to get number ported on Saturday and we were told it would be complete Tuesday, it's now 16:49 and nothing has happened.
I have phoned up and they tell me it'll be done by midnight. This information doesn't match what website tells me.
Has anybody else had their number ported after 4pm?

Can you try turning your phone off and on to reset it.
Just to advise porting does not occur over a weekend.
I would suggest that you speak with customer service on 191 or Live Chat to ask for this to be passed to the porting teams if it does not complete by tomorrow.

If you asked for your number to be ported on Saturday, with numbers not porting over a weekend, the request would not have been activated until Monday.
You may find your service fully online late this afternoon. If there are any issues, please use live chat, they will be able to find the reason for the delay.

These advisers seem to have no idea what they're talking about.
Apparently it's happening TOMORROW now when the website says ONE working day.
He also told me the phones have to be off COMPLETELY between 11am-4pm, I have never done this before and it's always worked. It shouldn't make any difference if the phone is off or on, it should still move across.
Any clarifications?

Hi,
I've come across the advice to power down the phones before.
I've known people do this and it worked and on the flip side people who have left them on and again things switched.
