Good Morning Ian Ward

Welcome to the eForum, its always nice to see a new face on here :D

The pin is the 12 digit number which can be found on the voucher or on the receipt you got from the retailer.

Dont forget you can sign up for the My Account Service as this will allow you top up by voucher at anytime it will also allow you to register a debit/credit card so you can top up without even leaving the house ;)

Cheers

Thanks for the reply Nicola.

I am trying to top up with my debit card though. I don't have a voucher. Can i do it with a card? I have registered, it asks for a security code (had to put the sim in a phone to get that as a text) now it asks for a pin. please help.

hi ian
when you register a card with payt you set a 4 digit security pin to ensure your details are secure. When you top up you will need this pin / the last 4 digits of the card and the last 3 off the sugnature strip. You must have set a pin to get the card into their system. I do this for my wife's payt phone (same process) If you forgotten the pin then you will need to call payt and get them to reregister you card. Hope this helps

Hello Ian

I notice you're looking at the thread as I type, can you confirm whether you've followed through on Kop1te's suggestion?

Thanks

Hi, i actually tried to get round the problem, i purchased a top up voucher (i am new to payg) so i did not know there was such a thing as a voucher.
Unfortunately i still have a problem, when i enter the voucher code i get a message along the lines of, "sorry due to a technical error your voucher cannot be accepted at this time please try again later". I have tried quite a few times to no avail?

Hi Ian,

Sorry to hear you are still experiencing issues with topping up your PAYG modem but I am sure we can get this sorted one way or another.

What number is it you're dialling to top up the modem? I'd advise dialling 08700776655 because if you do have any issues topping up on the IVR service you can get out through to one of our PAYG advisors.

I am aware that there has been some work being carried out on our automated top up lines but these seem to be through the night in the early hours.

Please let us know if you continue to have issues as we will take an in depth look in to this for you.

For any other having issues with the Modem top ups, please take a look at Topping up your TopUp and Go Mobile Broadband stick Help Centre as it will be invaluable to you. ;)

Thanks

Andrew
