Its crazy, because I bought the phone in store I have now to go to the store to try and get this letter. Technology doesnt seem to work very well with Vodafone. They cant seem to access my phone details. Phone calls are much better than the live chats. I give up !!!!!!!!!

Are we talking about a PAYG or a contract device? If it's PAYG and therefore bought outright, there won't be a central record of the purchase. I'd also be doubtful of whether the store will have its sales history either at this stage. There may be more information if it's on a contract (pay monthly) and all that information will be available centrally, though it's possible that the initial purchase won't be. I think it's much the same in all retail situations. Rule no 1: keep the paperwork.

I am on contract so this is what I can't understand. I do have the paperwork as well. I am just going to send the paperwork into them. loosing all faith now in Vodafone when it comes to issues.
