Poor signal

Firstly don't ask me to buy a sure signal. I shouldn't have to.

1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?
Certainly within a 1mile circle of my home. And comes and goes between home and work.

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?

Yes

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?

No errors just no signal and messages arriving days after being sent and messages telling me I had a missed call days ago.

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?

I don't get any of these in any place I spend any time.

6) When did you first notice this issue?

When I moved to Vodafone

7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?

Seems permanent! Has been like this for years!

@irelmo I've taken a look at your postcode and can see that you're on the fringe of coverage for 2G, 3G and 4G services. 


As you're on the fringe of coverage, we'd recommend looking into Wi-Fi Calling or a Vodafone Sure Signal to help create a signal indoors.

Ok I won't suggest Sure Signal Devices even though this would help when at home. 

 

Calling Over Wifi for people on eligible contracts and phones maybe an avenue to explore. 

 

Unfortunately every network has fringe coverage areas and going from the Vodafone Network Checker Your in one.

Both local and surrounding masts report no current known issues. 

 

There are no upgrades planned in the next 3 months that will improve the coverage in your postcoded area.
