Hi,
Today my wife discovered that the power button has stopped working and the phone did not wake from sleep. I then inseted the power lead from the charger and the phone woke up but the it did not go to sleep when the power button was pressed.
Is this likely to be due to the physical switch failure?
Any ideas on how to fix this problem. The phone ran out of warranty just four days ago. This shows that this brand of phone is not a quality product.

Thanks for your help.
I rebooted the phone and the power button is working again.
I think some app was the cause or the OS itself.

Are you aware it's a 24 month warranty on the phone if supplied by Vodafone.
I think you would need to weight up the cost of the phone to what a repair would cost if it's past 24 months.
