I have an R205 which I bought from Vodafone.
When I try to log in to the web access page I keep getting an error message saying that the page is not available.
I have try both addresses and on diferent machines.
I have also installed the app that the device automatically does when connected to a mac.
Nothing works, please help.
P.S I have connected the R205 each time.

Hi,
When you turn the R205 on, after it's done the warming up part, does it display something like "Vodafone UK 3G" on it? If it doesn't then it's not picking up a Vodafone signal. Also, are the signal bars on the R205 the same brightness/solidity as the rest of the text on the R205? If they are Zig/Zaggy or appear lighter than the rest on the text then it's not connected to Vodafone data services. Do you get any small numbers displayed next to the WiFi indicator on the R205? If not then your computer isn't actually connected to the R205 by WiFi.
Also, if you're connecting the R205 to anything via cable then it doesn't behave like a wifi router, it behaves like a tethered modem instead. What this means is that all the configuration parameters are in the Vodafone Mobile Broadband software, rather than on the device. Essentially if you're using a cable then the web admin pages of the router become disabled as the R205 becomes a tethered modem, rather than a WiFi router.
If you are using WiFi to conenct between the computer and R205, when you say " web access page" are you trying to log in to the administration pages of the R205 itself or are you just trying to browse the web? If it's the former and it's not working it might be worth resetting the R205 (using the pinhole) as the domain and IP address you use to access the R205 admin pages are configurable parameters and resetting the device will return them to default. If it's browsing the web you're having problems with, do you have any proxy settings in your web browser? If you do it might be worth removing these. If you could let us know the address of the page that you're having rouble accessing then it would be great.
I appreciate that I'm kind of covering all the bases here, and I could probably give some more specific advice if you can give us some finer detail on what's failing.
Thanks
HC

I tried the reset and that has done the job.
Thanks everyone.
