Has anyone took a line rental and sent it back within the 30 days and promised the upfront cost back into their account. I was promised the upfront cost of £120 for the pay monthly iPad contract back into my account within 7 working days. Now I’ve had to pay £115 for the iPad and my phone contract and still haven’t been refunded the £120. I don’t even know how they are charging £65 for the iPad monthly rental price is £40.80 and I only had it for 2 weeks and never used the data off the monthly plan. So I’m being charged £65 for having it for the 2 weeks? And they’re refusing to refund my £120 upfront cost until my bill regenerates and it still isn’t being back into my bank account which paid out of but bank into my Vodafone account which is useless to me! I’ve been in need of the £120 and expressed what I needed the money and still helpless. It’s very funny how when Vodafone needs a payment they expect it there and then, yet they expect me to wait until the end of November for my refund and not even being put back into my account so thanks for ruining my Christmas with unexpected charges and false advertisement and misleading information represented by your colleagues. Vodafone as a company is very unprofessional and never experienced such ridiculousness in my life with any other network.

I totally understand and appreciate that you want this resolving ASAP and any monies owed paid back swiftly.
Vodafone would have to go through the process of fully closing the account and to ensure any charges levied and refunds due are completed properly.
Its my belief that refunds can take 14 Days @Mariasharieff

When you agreed the contracts, you would have set up a direct debit to pay the monthly line rental, until you have received the refunds, you need to keep the direct debit open. If the direct debit is closed before the refunds are credited back, it will leave Vodafone without an account to repay your upfront cost and any line rental refund.
As far as this being your first bill is concerned, with pro rata charging this will always be more than expected, line rental is always charged in advance and you will have been charged part of a month, plus one full months line rental. Any line rental due back will credited back to your bank.
The best thing to do is to contact Vodafone using live chat, they will be able to see what has happened to the refund for the upfront charge and line rental and make sure the accoun t details are correct to credit the money.
