Hi there.
I was using the phone absolutely fine this morning when on the train and then by the time I got into working, mobile data had stopped working.
Have tried turning off and again, also been on a couple of other websites to look at fixes re APN but that doesn't seem to work when I try to change to the new one I've set up. Also tried switching to airplane mode and then back off airplane mode.
Not sure if I've inadvertently pressed a button to turn it off but thought that by turning off and on again it'd sort it.
Only had the phone a week or so and its been fine for the most part though instagram doesn't work properly on it (won't load photos) and spotify sometimes freezes.
Help! This is so frustrating. Thank you.

Hi
Do you see any data icon in the phones status bar ?
Ie 3g etc
Can you double check that mobile data is turned on in the pull down menu.

Sorry to add.
A good process of elimination is to try your sim card in another phone to rule out your sim card or account or phone at issue.

4g is showing. Mobile data is on. When I go to spotify it says 'internet connection is not available' don't understand how it was working fine then suddenly not.
Its a particular type of sim card isn't it with the S7 edge? So will that work in other phones?
Tried taking out the sim and putting it back in again, hasn't worked.
Thanks.

Just as quickly as it stopped working, its suddenly all come back.
Mystified and a little concerned for the future as its so new but lets hope it was just a temporary glitch.
Thanks for the quick responses.

Hi
Yes it's a nano sim card.
If it's back On then it could have been mast congestion.
Glad you are back up and running.

If something that was working perfectly well suddenly stops and I haven't done anything, my inclination is to suspect a service interruption or other network issue in the first instance and give it a while. That seems (effectively) to have worked in this case. Toggling the setting sometimes kick-starts things, but that's as far as I'd go. It's unlikely to be an APN issue unless there's a good reason to suspect corruption and messing around with settings can make things worse if you then don't know how to get back to how it (correctly, in all probability) was in the first place.
