S7 bluetooth problems

Hi, I have another problem with my S7. Bluetooth not connecting to my car. I have read that there is a issue with some s7 bluetooth which can be sorted by force stop and clearing cache on bluetooth and clearing cache partition which i have done but not worked. I had a similar issue with s5 when i first got this and had to wait for software update which samsung said was nothing to do with them it was down to software on car. Just wondered if anyone else has this issue and have they overcome it.

Hi. Bluetooth works fine between my S7 and car. As you say it normally requires a software update to the car system if there are problems.

Thanks for reply. Just saying that last time it was down to Samsung as it only started working after Samsung did software update and nothing to do with car software at all.

Probably a combination of both or it wouldn't work on any car if it was purely phone firmware, hope you get a solution soon.

Hi, I started to have this problem after the recent Android upgrade.  Any luck with it so far for you?  I tried everything you listed and nothing seems to help.

Bluetooth in cars is a can of worms at the best of times.   If yours has stopped working after a phone firmware update, it probably means the car's system needs attention.  A dealer would be able to advise if there's an update.   What make of car is it?
