One of my contacts has stopped receiving my texts about 5 days ago.
His phone is pretty primitive and doesn't have a blocking facility.
He has turned his phone off and back on.
He can receive texts from others and others receive texts from me.
I can receive texts from him and from others
I have switched my phone off and on.
I have deleted and re-entered the contact.
I have used +44 instead of 0.
We can make and receive calls and talked about the problem.
My phone says the messages are sent and received!
I am totally stumped.

Can this person receive texts from other people on Vodafone? I'm not sure at what point the system confirms receipt, but it may be at the point of delivery to the receiving network. Your contact may need to talk to their network, but troubleshooting SMS non-receipt can be a can of worms at the best of times.

I sent a message from my wife's (Vodafone contract) phone which was received.
I turned on the receipt confirmation function when the problem started and was surprised to see receipt confirmed.

Hi @adamdare,
You'll need to get them to speak with their network. They'll be able to trace the text and see where it's getting to.
We're unable to see any activity from their side of the network.
Thanks,
Matt

I contacted yesterday and was asked to swap the sim and try again which I did.
I was unable to text the contact in a different phone, so could be a SIM problem.

Hi @adamdare
The best thing to do now would be to try a new SIM card.
Get in touch with our Live help team and they can order one, or you can pick one up in your local store.
Thanks,
Jenny

Technical support tell me there is no problem!
I'll check later and may well suggest this to live support.

Now I have swapped the SIM and the issue persists - one person cannot receive my texts. We've sat next to each other and tried it!
