SureSignal Serial21502533629

It hasn't been used for a couple of years, and when i plugged it back in I had to re register it. I have done numerous resets since Monday (5 days ago) and the state for the last couple of days has been lights 1(power) and 2(Internet connection) both lit. Light 4 (connection) flicks maybe once every couple of hours for a fraction of a second.

Anything you can do?

Many Thanks,

Will

Hi willproctor and welcome to the eForum,

I can see that your Sure Signal made contact with our network today. How is everything now?

Thanks

Wayne

Hi, and thanks.

I chat messaged with a chap and he did something, but still no joy.

The power light is on, the second light is on most of the time with the 4th light flashing. then after a few mins 2, 3, 4 all flash in sequence, the device resets (drops the lan connection). Then 2 and 4 then 3 and then it starts all over again.

It used to work a couple of years ago. then Virgin upgraded my hub and I gave up. I have had my hub switched to modem mode to allow vpn access for work. I have it configured up through a netgear wndr3700 v4 and it works for my vpn, so I figured the vss will work? The net packet tracing on my modem is showing shed loads of traffic when nothing else is active so I know the box is doing something... just not patching my mobiles!

I am at a week of trying now, and frankly sick of the thing. Just looking forward to the end of my contract so I can switch to O2 which has signal coverage :smileyindifferent:

I doubt you can do anything, as your team couldn't two years ago. It was out of sheer desperation that I tried it again. I am on call again in six weeks and need to have vodafone coverage. Its embarrasing working for a company with vodafone mtpas access and I have to divert the line to an o2 pay as you go line to be able to get calls at 3 am.

Please are you able to help?

Hi willprocter,

As you’ve just had the update through from Virgin Media, I’d take a look at this post for help.
