SS3 Not Connecting

JAP01

I have an SS v3 and it has recently stopped working. Around a week ago I switched it off to move it and it would not connect. The Red light was flashing and the right two lights were solid orange.

Eventually I decided to set up the Port Forwarding rules (I've had the SS for quite a while and never had to do this before) and the SS started to work.

Today we had a power cut and the SS did not come back after The same light conditions are occuring but whatever I do I can't get it to connect. The router still has the port forwarding rules in place.

@JAP01 I've just performed a resync on your Sure Signal, please allow six hours to pass before restarting your device and testing.

Let us know how you get on. 🙂

This did not work, luckily it appears it is still in warranty so I hope to get a new one.

Thanks

@JAP01 - The IP address you’ve posted above (209.93.150.64), isn’t showing on our whitelist.

I’ve requested this to be added. Please allow upto 48 hours for it to update.

Hi, thanks for this but my address has changed since I posted. It is now 51.7.249.237 but still not working. Is this also blacklisted. Can you talk to Plusnet/BT to get a full list of their subnets?

The SS is reacting differently now as it is constantly re-trying to connect whereas before it would sit in the failed state for very long periods.

Thanks for your support.

The SS is now working so it looks like it was the whitelist. If it fails again I'll just keep resetting my router until it picks up an IP you allow :Smiling:

Many thanks
