What is the official line from Vodafone on this?. Had the initial handset and the replacement, neither of which have had any issues and have been the best phone I've owned.
Media reports state to turn off the handset and return it, although given the abysmal customer service on the first recall by Vodafone, I'd like an official answer rather than the 5 or 6 different ones I seem to get everytime I call

Then you get to spin the roulette wheel, you could get someone offering you a like for like replacement of a Note 7.. as I did. Or after explaining this to someone you get offered a replacement device even though you told them you have moved to a Sim Only contract. If you're lucky you don't get put on hold and then cold transferred to someone new in which you repeat the above. The best one was I was told to remove the battery!
Or
You get someone who is helpful and advises that a return bag is the process.. however then realises that Royal Mail is rejecting parcels containing the Note 7 and will call the local store so I can drop the device there and will call me back.. This was 2 days ago.. still waiting for the callback...
Samsung without doubt handled this badly, however Vodafone have been absolutely shocking. I have a device that officially may catch fire at any point whether on or off and as hard as I try I cannot return it and have a liability in my property. If something was to happen will Vodafone pay for any damage?

Hi @Robby1081
Where was the callback offered from?
Was this after completing our form?
Thanks,

Hi,
I've filled out a form twice, had a call back from the social media team once. I called 191 about 20 times, chasing the "returns pack" which never arrived.I was then told actually Royal Mail dont accept any packages containing the Note 7 so I cant do that anyway.
I called 191 at the weekend who told me they would contact a store to allow me to return the device there. Still waiting to hear back as to whether I can do this.
All I want to do is return the device.
Thanks
Rob

You wont be able to do anything with it.. Royal Mail are not accepting any deliveries with the Note 7..
