We have a Vodafone business contract with a Samsung S4 (phone 1) and Samsung S4 mini (phone 2). Placed next to each other, Phone 2 has a perfect signal strength and works fine while Phone 1 has a very poor signal strength and keep giving message "Not registered on network". Network settings are exactly the same. When we switch sim cards the problem reverts to Phone 2. The only difference we have noticed is when you insert the sim cards in the phones, the problem phone sim service lists a choice between "Vodafone contract (ticked) or Vodafone PAYG". Phone 2 lists between "Vodafone UK (ticked) and Vodafone UK Pre-paid"
What is the diffrence between these sim services and why is it that two phones on the same contract use different sim services? Is it possible that problem sim/settings are for Vodafone on the continent and not the UK?

Thanks for comment, but it seems we have solved the problem. The new sim was not registered on the Sure Signal and as the administrator phone I could not fix it without Vodafone technical assistance. A very kind man solve it for me on Sunday evening. So far so good.
