Hi.

I recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S5 from an S3, for some reason I can't recieve text messages from my friend who has a nokia lumia.

She gets my texts and replies, when I go to my call log it shows that she has replied to my texts but nothing shows up in my inbox and no notification.

Any help would be fantastic.:catsad:

I'm taking the phone into the local vodafone shop today. Hopefully they can figure this out.

If they do find a resolution, please could you post back to let us know what they did to fix it - that way we can use the information to help others that are in a similar situation.

Took my phone in and they had no idea why it woulcn't recieve texts from my friends phone. They tried an Iphone and another phone to test and both messages went through to my phone, also another friend text me from a old nokia phone and that went through too. They also said that I don't have my friend block, so the texts should be going through. The only thing they could suggest is to check my friends phone and see if anything is wrong that end.

I can see that she has replied on my call log but there is nothing in my inbox and if I text here once I press send the screen is just blank. The phone she has is a Nokia Lumia and her network is O2.

@Alison82 - Have you checked the number is listed under 'mobile' in your contact settings? Also, check if the contact is stored more than once in your phone.

There's an option for 'locked messages' and 'spam messages' which can be found in message settings - take a look to see if the messages appear there instead.

I THE number is listed under mobile, it's only stored once. I've looked in both spam and locked messages and they are both empty.

@Alison82 - It does sound like the issue may lie with your friend's network because you were able to receive messages from an iPhone and another make phone instore.

Has your friend contacted O2 about this?
