I'm having problems with speed dial connecting me to contacts when they dial me while I'm on the line speaking causing not only interference on the sound but in one case recording a 12 min conversation on the wrong person message machine!
Also apps and back button jamming, terrible time delay on messenger and poor connection to WiFi in house.
Had this phone a week and losing patience with it

Hi,

Can I ask how much memory you have left on the handset.

Try a soft reset which is turn it off, pull battery (handset dependant) turn back on.

If a factory reset / hard reset do not help then keep in mind you have 14 calendar days to request the handset be swapped. Of you go over 14 days you would have to accept a repair.

Be aware a hard reset deletes data on the phones memory so please do make a back up.

Thanks, I have over 8 GB left will try the soft reset

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

I asked because sometimes with phones if their memory is close to being maxed out issues can occur.

I wish you luck with the types of Reset I've spoken about.

That's actually the storage.  The problems you're experiencnig can occur when the operating memory (RAM) is getting full.   In that case, closing recent applications can solve it.   Hoewever, this early in its life, I'd go for a new device, too.   When you get it, run it with no additional apps for a few days.   If it's OK like that, but the problems recur when you start adding apps, one of them is likely to be the problem, so remove them in reverse order until it goes away and you've found the culprit.

The ultra 6 has no option to remove battery so I'll go back into shop as I just got last week.

When you go back to the shop, please take the original paperwork you were issued as well as the device, the original box and accessories.  The staff will then be able to process an exchange for you.

Hi

if things are going wrong so early into owning the device I don't blame you losing confidence in that one Which is why I pointed out the 14 day option.

Please let let us know how you get on.

Thanks, I think the problem is in the apps too as just had a WhatsApp message sent there when on a call and the device opened it and 5 other random apps iv not even been on! Including the battery info one.Again distorted my call, I know what your saying but if I have to turn off messenger, WhatsApp, tango and gmail etc then it's not really a phone for communication. Heading into shop now will let you know what they say.

Absolutely not, closing apps all the time isn't a long-term solution, but it would help to narrow the cause of the problem down.  If you have an app that's hogging memory, that could be it.  It's just a question of narrowing it down and getting rid of it.   I doubt any popular mainstream apps (such as WhatsApp) would do that, though.
