Sim only for data with dongle

I had a Vf account some years ago and this eforum was the best bit of Vf..  Now I am with 3.  Ran out of data due to win 10 heavy windows update load.         Bought from the Bay a Vf data sim.

Tried to register it with Vf but I need a Vf fone, I use Tesco and there is no dashboard on my desktop.

Sim working OK but how do I check the data usage?

Wow.  This is like the days of old.

Only way I could get into the system was via CHAT.   I have spent considerable time on this now.     Going through security.  One would think data was like gold.  Anyway I managed to register my Tesco phone  on the site in order to get a texted back code.

The sim I have is a 2gb +2gb data only.   When the first 2gb runs out then I get an auto top - up of the remaining 2gb.

Being familiar with Vf I thought I would check if this auto top up happens.

CHAT said it would.  Needless to say, the 2gb ran out and no top up.

Back to CHAT.   They said they didn't have this kind of deal and I would have to top up.    It clearly states on the Vf packaging  how the system works.   I will take this up with the vendor.   Some things never change
