Recently took out an iPhone SIM only tariff with VF and at the same time ordered a SS box as I knew there was no VF 3G at home (only get Edge)
I should have read these forums before ordering really as my ISP is Sky and my D-LINK Sky router was changed over to MER the other week, which apparently wont work with the SS box?
Are VF working on this issue, considering Sky are in the process of changing over all their Broadband users from PPPoA to MER?
Solved! Go to best answer.

Hi guys,
I've just had word back from our Sure Signal engineers that the new Sky IP ranges mentioned on the last page have now been added to our firewall whitelist.
Can anyone on Sky who was in that IP range please let me know if your Sure Signal is now working. You'll be able to check your IP address here. Please note that you may just need to reset your Sure Signal beforehand.

And finally, your VSS serial number.

Hi typsydog,
Thanks for the update here.
Can you confirm that you are still having issues?
The reason that I have asked is that all of the details provided look fine and I can see that the Sure Signal updated on the server yesterday so it should now be connecting fine.
If you are still having issues, would you be able to test the Sure Signal on a different connection to rule out a faulty Sure Signal unit.

Nope still not working.
There are two Vodafone users in our house and both of our contracts are due for renewal soon. Unless the Sure signal starts to work, we will have to change network, as we both have minutes left that we cannot use as the reception is so bad in the house.
I am now actively trying to find a network provider that I can get a decent signal from, in the house.
Shame, as we have been with vodafone for a long time now.
Typsydog.

Hi Guys
Thanks for your posts here.
@ veenessie, all of the details that you have provided look fine however I can see that there has not been an update on the Sure Signal since 04/10/2012 and as a result I have re-synced the Sure Signal for you from here, please can you perform a reset as instructed at the bottom of my post and let me know how you get on.
@ typsydog, can I ask exactly what light sequence you are seeing so we can direct our attention to the relevant troubleshooting with you.
James
Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
Once all lights display release the reset button.
The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

I have a 1st power light. The remaining 3 are not on.
