When I get a call the smart first 7 has 2 screens - you have to swipe one or tap the other. Most confusing. How do I just have one sort of screen for incoming calls.

many thanks

I've never heard of anything like that and there doesn't seem to be anything in the manual.   Do the instructions there bear any resemblance to what you're seeing?

Many thanks. Yes, it says if the screen is locked you get a screen to swipe and if not, you get a box which you have to tap. I'd like to know if you can set it so you always get either a swipe or a tap.

I haven't had an incoming call with the phone unlocked for a very long time, but I believe the behaviour may be different depending on that condition.  It may just be a question of gettinng used to it - I presume the two versions look completely different?

Are you using the stock phone app or a 3rd party one @uphillcat ?

I'd suggest to look in the specific settings for the phone app and relevant sub folders in settings.

If you get stuck I'm sure one of the Vodafone High street Store reps will be able to help.

It's all stock stuff - I may have to resort to the store.  Just bad design, I suspect. Thanks for your help.
