Smart N8 compass

I have just taken a contract on the basis that the specs from various sources including GSM arena show the phone as having a compass - but running relevant apps shows no compass exists.  Which is right? If no compass then I'm not happy. Thanks.

Yes GsmArena do have in the specs that it has a compas but they do add "Disclaimer. We can not guarantee that the information on this page is 100% correct"

May I ask did you ask Vodafone the question before choosing the phone ?

Customer Services on 191 or Live Chat should be able to officially clarify. 

I've looked at the spec sheets on Vodafones page and various others too and here as another example and am unable to find mention of a compass. Vodafone N8 Specifications.

If it is the case that it does not have a particular feature that is a deal breaker for you then Vodafone operate a 30 day Network Satisfaction Guarantee.
