Trying to download from I player onto a SD card. I player hinted that this is available on most Android 4.0 and higher and I have no issues doing this with my Xperia Z however I don't seem to be able to load from either PC or from I player. Is it me?

The obvious first port of call would be to download to internal memory (if there's enough space) and then copy to SD.  However, I also suspect that this may be a memory/RAM issue.  If you download to memory (again, can you?), does it work then?

You also mention loading from pc.  Is this with the tablet connected to the pc and used as external memory?  That might be a security setting within iPlayer (I don't know enough about it, just a thought).  Again, can you copy to the pc?

Thanks for the reply. It appears that Iplayer downloading is only supported by some Android devices (Like the Xperia Z) and I will have to wait until the software is upgraded. Still works well on live streaming over WiFi.

Yes indeed.  I can download on my ICS tablet, but not on my Gingerbread phone.  However, the download option doesn't (or didn't last year) appear on the phone.
