I have edited the title as my badly spelt caller was auto corrected to cellular which is just wrong
Hi,
When i came over to Voda from BT I questioned as to why Caller ID was not shown as an option during either signup of from the management portal (and still isnt ) . I was told y a voda agent on the phone that it was not there as its a standard part of the service I was siging up to. I have since discovered that this isnt the case so have missed a number of important calls from family as the numbes where not showing as recogognised.
I have tried the chat and called the helpline the first couldnt help and teh second really didnt understand and couldnt find my broadband line at all to begin with so here I am.
Any ideas, contacts etc I can try ?

Hi @flipside,
Caller ID is something that can be added onto your package by Customer service team and is an extra £1/month. It is normally added on within 24 hours of the request being made.
Please try 08080 034 515 for Home Broadband support (free from all UK landlines and mobiles) with lines open between 8am and 11pm, seven days a week. You can also try web chat as well.

Thankyou for responding but as I explained badly above I have called the number given and tried online chat.
Im now paying for a service I was told I already had , was never given the option to add during sign up (hence why questioned itiiduring the sign up process) and still dont have on the management portal.

I am sorry you have had a poor start to the Landline and Broadband service.
If you do not wish to call up Customer Service again you can add Caller Display through MyVodafone online account. Have you registered for this as of yet?
If you haven't you should be able to do so via Vodafone website and once registered you can add it on there and saves you having to call in or do web chat.
If unsuccessful in doing this then you will need to contact Customer service so they can do it for you.

the option is not available through the portal and wasnt available when i signed up hence why i questioned it during this process and was told it wasn't showing as it was alreafy part of the service

Hi Flipside,
When you say portal? Are you describing your online account? https://www.vodafone.co.uk/myvodafone/faces/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/pagehierarchy/
Because I can tell you with 100% confidence that you can add Caller Display on the MyVodafone online account. If it's already added then a green tick will be beside it with an option to cancel it.
If it's not applied then you add it and it will prompt you about the £1 extra charge whcih is a recurring monthly charge.
I understand that you were told it will already be part of the package and I'm sorry it hasn't been added. If your landline is not showing number on the display when someone calls you then it cannot be added yet. So by following the above option of doing it online then you should be able to get it added to your account.

And all I can see is in the attached pic - 2018-01-27_14-40-37.png, the other 2 show the options offered on sign up. As you can see Caller ID is not mentioned.
So im still where I was , no options on the portal , at sign up and only finding that caller ID isnt part of the standard package after a chance converstaion with my mum made me investigate. As I have said I'm told this has now been added to my account (fingers crossed) but I do not understand why this option wasnt offerd in the first place and isnt on the portal

I'm sorry the link never worked but from your images attached i could see that you are in the right place online.
Very odd that the caller display doesn't show on your account. It shows on mine.
So I think the best option would be to call Custoemr service and get them to check from their end to see if it has been added properly. If you have already added this as you have said it normally goes on within 24 hours but if not on by then please call them and get someone to check the progress of it.

I have never had this option on my Vodafone either. Everything else is there accept caller display. Lucky I don't want it however I have noticed that the option to add it is missing from the my Vodafone area perhaps the op has the same issue.
