Hi,
For about 2 months now I've been unable to access the spotify premium that comes as part of my monthly contract. I've phoned technical support a number of times and it still hasn't been resolved so I was wondering if anyone on here knew how to resolve this issue.
Basically, I follow the link sent to me in the text, follow the steps to log in to my existing spotify, then after a sort of loading period where it says 'completing purchase', a notice syaing 'A server error has occurred, we will have to log you in again' comes up every time without fail.
This seems to be a problem for a number of people, not just myself, so please could someone tell me if they know a solution, as its starting to get quite frustrating.

I have a similar problem and have been through the live chat but as yet they have not sorted it. I have even spoken to tech support who tried it themselves and confirmed the problem. The gentleman told me he was going to pass the info on but I have never heard back.
They have tried correcting a problem with my account ( No difference). They have removed and added the media package several times which still didn't correct the problem.
I subscribed myself for one month and vodafone correctly identified I was on spotify premium, but when expired came back to the same server error.
Still no luck in getting it sorted.

I have managed to cure my server error. Go to spotify.com and log into your account. At the bottom is 'sign out everywhere' select this then try going to the offers link on your phone. Select the offer and then hopefully this time you might not get the error. Worked for me tonight.

@drbinary Thanks for letting us know about this solution to the server issue. I have been talking to the Chat room people and been on the phone to Vodafone several times and they didn't suggest this as a solution. I was speaking to the phone line staff again this afternoon and, as it was taking ages (as usual), I came onto this community site and followed your suggestion on my Spotify account site (my direct debit to them had previously expired and I was back to Spotify Free) and signed out of Spotify everywhere and I could now use the Vodafone link to set up S Premium on my account. Brilliant! It works. I told the Vodafone staff member. Many thanks @drbinary.
As for Vodafone, they should know how to sort this problem. We can't be the only people who join Vodafone with an existing Spotify Premium account.

When you are sent the link (to sign up for the Spotify entertainment offer) by the Vodafone cusomer services team, make sure that you turn off the wifi on your mobile before you click on the link, otherwise Spotify thinks that you are a non-Vodafone potential customer and will try to charge you the normal £9.99 per month to join.

I am facing similar kind of issue when I attempt to join to Spotify Premium error code 18 spotify through Vodafone. When I contact Vodafone they continue saying the issue is with my Spotify account being restricted.

I am having the same problem. I get to the offer page, select the Spotify link, use the Spotify account I newly set up (I deleted my old one after reading other comments on this page). I see the text "completing selection" then get a pop up "server error, you will need to log in again" That's happened each time.
I've called in to customer service twice: Try again in 24 hours, should work then. But it does not. Please help.
