Hi Tech Support,

 

Followed threads to help solve this when SSV1 suddenly stopped giving a 3G on our 2 phones and struggling to get any signal at all.

Light 1 on permanently Light 2 intermittently. By on/off button link- green on permanently and orange flash intermittently.

Hard Resets no help over past 3w since problem commenced.

 

Post forward links no help 

 

I would appreciate your help

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Paste the output of this command into your reply.

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

Hi J_D_,

 

I’ve checked your serial number today and can see that your Sure Signal connected to our servers this morning at 00:47, are you still unable to get a signal?

 

To make sure your Sure Signal is as up to date as possible, I’ve just forced a resync of your device.

 

To make sure the resync completes, can you perform a factory reset:-

 

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show/flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead
  • Once all the lights display, release the reset button
  • The Sure Signal will come online in about an hour

 

If this doesn’t work, can you post the details that James has asked for and we’ll be able to offer more help.
