Sure Signal 1 not working after power failure

b18key
1: Seeker

Hi.  I've seen a few questions and responses on similar issues to this, but I'd really like to paste my pathping and tracert results for analysis.  I'm no expert but based on the results, there appears to be a packet loss issue (hop 3 and 6) and a time out on the tracert.  If you're in agreement, any ideas as to whether it is a VF network issue, or BT?  Or someone else?!

The scenario, briefly, is that I've had a working VSS1 for approx 1 year.  Following three power failures a few nights ago, LEDs one and two stay on, four blinks on and off, then the VSS resets itself and tries again.  I've tried the reset procedure, spoken to VF support, etc, but to no avail.

Results are as follows.  Would be greatful for any bright ideas!

Hi b18key,

The symptoms you describe add up to a degraded power supply which is a common problem with the VSS1.

This issue is described here..........

https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/SureSignal-1-flashing-but-not-working-possible-...

Replacement power supplies can be purchased from Amazon or Ebay and cost around £10-12 inc. delivery.

Regards,

Mike.
