Sure Signal 2 stopped working overnight

My Sure signal 2 was working perfectly last night, this morning at 6am power light solid, 2 lights flashing together. will not set. Phoned business customer services, not helpful, may have been a firmware update overnight but they don't know! Only advice leave for 6 hours. Asked how they could help they said could divert to my landline then told me the relevent department not open until 9am!.

Is there a general problem, my internet is fine, no power cut in the night. Any help appreciated, losing faith in Vodafone all over again.

Same issue here.

My VSS just has a blinking internet light :smileymad:

Same here - I have two SureSignals and a similar EE box

Both suresignals the same status whereas EE box and all other internet service fine

QED:  Vodafone servers are not accepting the incoming SureSignal connections

Actually been very stable for months so into each life a little Voda must fall I suppose.

My issue seems to have resolved itself - im back and working :smileyhappy:

I was just instructed by vodafone to reset and that it might take up to 6 hours to come back 😞

However before the reset I had 3 lights back on so hopefully, one way or the other, the signal will come back once it's had a good think about it.

I'm glad your suresignal is back Ashley and hopefully mine will be as well soon. Don't know what happened, they said it might have been trying to download configuration settings and failed. Hmm

Admin or Moderators, your comments would be appreciated, is there a problem with your servers?

I too am having this problem, out of the blue this morning. No amount of resetting works, just got the power light on and 2nd light flashing. Help, I am trying to work from home!

Mine came back 20 minutes ago, they told me upto 6 hours but in the past it has always been less than 1 hour which is why I suspected there was more going on here. When it works it is great and as I have no mobile signal without it and nothing for Three, Orange or T Mobile my only options are Vodafone or O2 but I think their customer service level is poor, I was told "there may have been a hardware update overnight" but when I asked if they could find out I was told "NO"!. Not helpful at all.

Hope everyone else gets back soon.

mine came back... about the same time

Mine's back now too. Not sure what happened, but to be fair the woman on the support line was very good and it wasn't actually difficult to get through to someone. Hopefully it will be another few years before I need to do it again.
