Hi,
We have installed a pair of Vodaphone Sure signals for a workplace and connected them back to the Draytek Router however we cannot get them to work. Both sure signals are registered online
BAD01 Serial Number *42152707321
BAD02 Serial Number *42152707198
However the lights on the devices never change to show either of them are working properly there is always one red and two amber lights.
A traceroute from the Draytek Router is as follows,
traceroute to 212.183.133.179, 30 hops max through WAN2 protocol ICMP
1 185.73.154.73 10 ms
2 46.226.0.169 20 ms
3 46.226.0.161 20 ms
4 46.226.0.173 10 ms
5 46.226.0.130 20 ms
6 141.136.100.217 20 ms
7 141.136.106.18 20 ms
8 195.2.22.217 20 ms
9 Request timed out. *
10 Request timed out. *
Trace complete.
The devices are patched directly into the LAN Port on the Draytek.
IP Address MAC Address Netbios Name Interface VLAN Port
192.168.1.100 E0-41-36-1A-E4-E0 LAN1 --- P2
192.168.1.102 E0-41-36-1A-E4-ED LAN1 --- P1
Any idea why these Sure signals are not working?
regards

Hi
If you have set port forwarding up correctly then check the MTU packet size on the DrayTek.
It needs to be set to 1500 for this piece of archaic technology to work!!
Known issue with SureSignal that Vodafone fail to admit to!!!
It is important to report all failed SureSignal V3 using the links below to:

I have opened the attached ports on the Draytek and I can see the following in the NAT Session table
192.168.1.100 500 39668 212.183.133.179 500 WAN2
192.168.1.101 500 39732 212.183.131.139 500 WAN2
192.168.1.100 500 500 212.183.131.139 500 WAN2
192.168.1.100 10705 10705 46.226.7.205 53 WAN2
192.168.1.100 10485 10485 46.226.7.205 53 WAN2
However the lights on the Sure Signals have not changed and the MTU size is set to 1500 any more ideas folks?

@rneil35 Please could you confirm the model of your Draytek router?
Could you also let us know if your default data filter is enabled or disabled in your router's settings.
I've also requested for the IP addresses that you've provided to be added to our Whitelist.

Hi @rneil35
Sorry for our delay in replying.
We've requested the IP addresses provided to our Whitelist. Once these have been added you'll be able to connect to the Network via the Sure Signal box.
Thanks,
Mark

I've got exactly the same problem.
I replaced old iPhone 5 with iPhone 6 & tried to change registry on suresignal. Old blackberry still worked, but new iPhone 6 didn't. And still doesn't. I've spent MANY hours on LIVECHAT with no explanation. I even bought a new suresignal and that doesn't work either. It just flashes "setting up" or "can't access Vodafone". Also, website won't allow new users to be added.
Feedback is wholly unacceptable.
The solution, of course, is to provide a better signal. BTW, I live in central London.
