Sure Signal Location Changed / Unable to Confirm Address

Hi,

I've recently setup a version 2 sure signal and all has been working fine, except I've been getting messages saying the location has changed and asking me to confirm my location.

I followed the instructions, but the postcode and location are correct and I'm unable to confirm my address because the validation on the webpage is broken. Whenever I try to confirm my postcode again, I get an error message saying please enter the 1st line of your address, except there is no entry point.

How do I stop these messages when I'm unable to confirm my address?

Thanks,

Aaron

Hi, Just wondered if anyone within the tech team has an answer? I've seen a few threads along similar lines.

Thanks

Hi Aaron,

Thanks for posting. :Smiling:

We usually see this happen if the address is new or recently changed. Could this apply to you?

Can you try swapping your postcode to ST1 5GP then swapping it back again?

Cheers, Ben

Hi Ben,

I've not changed my address since I first registered it, which was fairly recently.

I tried your instructions but it won't save the new postcode, it says "Please enter both a postcode and the first line of the address.", but I can't enter the address.

Hi Aaron,

Let me have your serial number and I’ll see what we can do from this end for you.

Cheers,

Andy

Hi AaronForumUser,

I’ve checked this for you and it was showing a location change.

I’ve changed this to ST1 5GP and then back again so please perform a reset as follows to ensure everything updates:

-Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid

-Pull the power lead and Ethernet cable out with the reset button still pushed in

-Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead

-Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button

-Reconnect the Ethernet cable

Let us know how you get on. :Smiling:

Thanks,

Jenny
