Hello again V'f,

Update on yesterday's post.

Today, Fri. 24th.  08.45  Service available until 14.00 NO service

14.45 service available.

Our daughter arrived this afternoon and showed on her Nokia Lumia 625 the tet message

from Vodafone that she is registered to use the S.Sigv3 at this address.

When she tried, she got the message "No Service" but WiFi works perfectly.

There is certainly something out of kilter somewhere.

I got the S.Sigv3. to re-enforce the unreliable BT land-line service on the basis

that the S.Sig concept is ideal for rural 'not-spots'.

Just the kind of place we live in.

S.Sig. is proving to be unreliable.

Help me to get this thing working.

Hi dmlox,

The Sure signal currently isn’t connecting to the server.

Can you try a different Ethernet cable between the router and the Sure Signal?

However, the main problem could be with the actual broadband service you use as it doesn’t look like a standard fixed line broadband service.

If you can try a new cable and do a full reset, we’ll see what we can do.

For version 3:

-Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.

-Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.

-Release the button and wait for the setup procedure to complete.

The Sure Signal will be back online in around 1 hour.
