On a PC:
Click on Start and select Run
Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
A black box will appear.
In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter
Paste the output of this command into your reply.
This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

The Sure Signal system doesn't work in a way that would cause an outage in a specific location, so that won't be the issue. The details you've posted all check out OK though.
I've resynched the Sure Signal on our system, so can you reset the box for me?
For Sure Signal version 1 or 2:
- Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
- Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
- Once all lights display release the reset button.
- The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.
For Sure Signal version 3:
- Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
- Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
- Once the lights come back on, release the button.
- The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.
If that fails, can you confirm if the unit works for a while before rebooting/resetting, or if it happens straight away? If it works for a while, can you make sure that the box has good airflow around it to help rule out overheating?

Thanks for posting back.
- Can you try another Ethernet cable (if you have one)?
- How about de-registering and re-registering the VSS?
- You could also try it on another connection such as at a friend or relative's house.

What network is the number you are trying to add, on?
Only Vodafone numbers using Vodafone SIM cards can be added to the Vodafone Sure Signal.

I'm sorry you feel offended by my reply. I certainly didn't intend for that to happen.
The reason I asked is I found the number you were trying to add by accessing your VSS details. I checked the number on our network and it wasn't found, hence the question.
I was merely answering your question about why this error was happening.
