I have had two of the previous versions of Sure Signal, this has to be the very worst bit of kit I have ever encountered, good idea and when it worked it was good but the kit is complete rubbish in terms of reliability. At £100 for the new version I will definitely not be buying one. I doubt it is any better than the previous units. Therefore a total waste of money.

It's a shame you have had issues with your Sure Signal,
I've been using a v1 since the days it was still called Access Gateway never had any issues. Its a fantastic product which has made my families phoens usable again.

Your Sure Signal serial number:
VSS Traceroute command
On a PC:
Click on Start and select Run
Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
A black box will appear.
In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter
Paste the output of this command into your reply.
This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

I have included the data you requested, it will show that I don't have the fastest connection but that is the penalty of living where I do.
My issues with Sure Signal is not the connection, the unit itself is unreliable. I have had two units that have both failed in the same manner. They are prone to what appears to be heat faults, they work for a few hours then stop working. I then have to reset it, once I have done that a few times it won't connect at all. I have given up trying. It is a shame because when it did work it made it possible to use my mobile phones in the house.
I have two unit so have included both serial numbers though only one is registered at present.

Hi Falachan,
This isn’t a common issue but can be a problem if it isn’t kept in a very well ventilated area.
If possible I would try to move the Sure Signal to a place where air can circulate around the unit.
Also, as your upload speed is only just above the threshold, if you are using the internet a lot with different devices, the bandwidth may be restricted which could stop it working.
Other than that, everything looks fine with the registration and setup.
