Hi simmo1999,

Thanks for your posts.

Everything looks fine and I can see that the Sure Signal connected to the server yesterday.

Are you still having the same problem?

If yes, is the broadband at your home location or office?

The reason that I ask is that the first IP address on the traceroute should be your router IP but this is showing as a 10.XXX address which is normally associated with corporate networks.

Also, do you have any other phones you could add to the Sure Signal to see if this connects or not?

James

Hi

Home network. Have just run again and it comes up with the same IP address at first traceroute point. I have no network/internet connectivity issues, all working fine .

Im on Virgin Cable, dont know if that makes a difference but my external IP address according to the website you suggest checking it with starts with 86.

Sorry, I dont have another phone I can use. My wife is on O2...(Sorry!)

Hi simmo1999,

I can see that we've resynched the Sure Signal earlier today. Have you reset the Sure Signal? If not, follow these steps:

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

If that doesn't help, try re-registering the Sure Signal:

  • Deregister the Sure Signal via My Account.
  • Wait at least one hour for the system to refresh.
  • Register the Sure Signal again.
  • Reset the Sure Signal using the steps above.

Let us know if this helps. It helps ensure everything about the old registration is flushed.
