Sure signal intermittant for many weeks

I have had my Sure Signal for some years during which it worked without problem.  In August it stopped doing so; working for maybe 20% of the time before reverting typically many times a day to two lights flashing and it not working before temporarily restarting.  Before going on holiday in late August I reported it and it was reset or similar from your end and I followed the instructions for rebooting it here. 

There has been no improvement.  The details I see sought from other people with problems are:

 

Speed test results

3.97 download

0.91 upload

Packet loss - not possible

53ms ping

12 ms jitter

The Sure Signal is wirelessly connected which it has been from the beginning.  I tried connecting it by cable to the router but that stopped anything being able to connect the internet.

Thanks for posting your details.

 

I'm a little concerned that the Traceroute timed out so quickly. Are you able to reposition the Sure Signal or router in your home to retest? Also can you try an alternative Ethernet cable so we can rule out a faulty piece of hardware?

Sorry I didn't reply much earlier.

 

Changing the Ethernet cable improved it to 98% good.
