Hi There, Could you resync my Sure Signal

S/N : 42143913723

I had a SIM Swap on 2 of my phones, and neither will connect to it.  I spoke to chat earlier and they advised me to deregister, re-register and add all the users which I did but the new SIM cards will still not connect to Sure Signal.  The other 3 phones connected to it work fine (UPDATE: actually, the other 3 phones won't connect to it either despite the Sure Signal showing as ready).

Hopefully this will resolve the issue.

Thank you

Steve

I've done a resync on your Sure Signals.

Please let us know if this doesn't resolve your issues so can offer further help.

I changed SIM some weeks ago - managed to get both phones working OK with the Suresignal, but we have an intercom device with a sim installed and this is not connecting to the VSS although it is registered.  I've tried de-registering and re-registering the number and power cycling the intercom unit, but it doesn't force a reconnect.   I can't remove the SIM from the intercom device because it is a sealed unit and not accessible.

I'm hoping you can force a resync of my VSS and then I'll reset to see if this cures the problem.  The device Serial number is 40122428705.

Thanks

AK

It's working fine now. Thanks for your help.

@Masterflump

I've re-synced your Sure Signal. Please perform a factory reset by following the steps below:

  • Unplug the Ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button
  • Plug the cable back in

Thanks for letting us know your Sure Signal is up and running again :Smiling:

Hi

Thanks for the re-sync.  All my phones are working well with Suresignal, but for some reason I can't get the intercom SIM to register. It always worked before, so not sure why it won't work now.  Any other suggestions?  I rebooted the intercom device a few times and shut the power off completely for a couple of minutes.  I can't remove the SIM from the Intercom as its not accessible.

UPDATE:

I've managed to get the SIM card out of the intercom and put it in a phone and it worked fine.  Put it back in the intercom and it stopped working.  The VSS is right next to the Intercom so there is no problem with proximity or range.  Sometimes there is a strong enough signal without using the VSS which means we can prove the intercom will work with the SIM.  The intercom works just like a phone, it can make and receive calls and texts and had been working fine up to a few days ago.

It would be good to get some more options, it's over a week since I posted my first message and only one response.  I thought these forums were more regularly serviced than this - is there another option?

@Masterflump

As the SIM works in another device, this proves that the Sure Signal is working and that the Vodafone network is working.

You could try getting a new SIM, but as it works in another phone, I doubt this would be the issue.

It sounds like there may be an issue with how the intercom is picking up 3G signal.

Hi

I am having similar problems to all in this thread. I have tried re-setting and re-powering the SS and mobile phone several times over a number of days following a change of SIM, but to no avail.

Would you please carry out a resync of the following SS:41113730174

Many thanks

Hello,  after changing my vodafone micro sim to a vodafone nano sim with the same phone number my sure signal is no longer talking to the phone with the new sim in it.

Please could you re-synchronise Sure Signal 43152142337 ?

Thank you,  regards Jon.
